FORMER Ajax Capetown midfielder Macdonald Motsi salutes Prophet Walter Magaya for reviving his career after it almost ended following a two-year injury.
Motsi who is expected to sign a one-year contract with Yadah Stars this month, thanks Prophet Magaya for recognizing his talent.
“My journey was never easy, it had ups and downs but what matters most is that I am where I wanted to be this year (playing in the premier league).
“Papa called me to play for the team and I could not refuse because that is what I had always wanted for myself. All I can say is that he is a good inspiration to me,” he said.
The 28-year-old midfielder said he appreciates the welcoming gestures he has been receiving from the teammates.
“I have been training with Yadah for some time now and they are very loving and peaceful people. I am enjoying every moment with them,” said Motsi.
Having won the top goal scorer gong in 2013 while playing for Gunners, Yadah are likely to be among the competitive teams this season.
The miracle boys finished on position 13 last season and it is their hope that if they strengthen their team this season, they will finish on better position.
