Harare City Top Chibuku goal scorer William Manondo said he feels happy being called Mr Chibuku as that motivates him.
Manondo has banged 13 goals so far in the Chibuku Super Cup tournament and his goals are what has kept the sunshine boys afloat.
With his fine Chibuku performance Manondo has been nicknamed Mr Chibuku as he stands as one of the most consistent players in this cup.
Manondo said his performance is not a one man show as he also says it’s all about team work.
“I am happy to be called Mr Chibuku.
“As a team they call me Mr Chibuku that motivates me in each and every game.
“It’s not all about me, team work is also a key,” said Manondo.
The striker said he has a lot to offer on the final slated for Saturday at Gibbo against Triangle.
“It’s possible to score another goal. We need to go down there fight as a team.
“I think I need to score more goals in this tournament.
“Personally I think on Saturday I will do something for the game,” he added.
Manondo who won the cup last season with the then Harare City coach Taurai Mangwiro who is now at Triangle said they are going to win the game.
“I know coach Tau is a good coach, his type of play is similar with Mark Harrison but if we manage our game in the first half, I think we are going to win the game.
“It’s going to be a tough game but if we work as a team and work hard I think we will come up with something positive,” he said.
