JAMAICAN reggae artiste Mr Easy has shown respect to the Zimbabwean artistes ahead of the gigs they will share stage together on December 14 and 15 in South Africa.
The respected reggae artiste will be performing in Cape Town at Martins Adams Hall and Pretoria at Europa Lounge club on December 14 and 15 respectively.
The gig will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of Digital One Entertainment and it will be supported by SVS International of Sevious Pasipanodya.
Mr Easy will be supported by artistes such as Killer T, Soul Jah Love, Ex Q, King Labash, DJ Fidel That Don and others.
He said he has been watching closely the Zimbabwe music industry especially the Zim dancehall genre, and he believes there is great talent in the country.
“It is a great honour to be sharing the stage with my fellow brothers from Zimbabwe.
“Zim music is growing as I am noticing some young talent that is doing well and getting international recognition.
“This is a great development and we wish to see African artistes dominating internationally,” said Mr Easy.
“I am watching what Zimbabweans are doing and I hope one day they will dominate like Jamaican dancehall.
“They are on the right track and I am looking forward to interact with them when I get in South Africa,” he added.
Pasipanodya said he is glad to host the Jamaican and give him a platform to socialise with Zim artistes.
“I am happy to have managed to rope in Mr Easy to share the stage with Zimbabwean artistes.
“It will be a great thing for the Zim artistes to share the stage with such big artistes as they will benefit something from them,” he said.
