TALENTED Zim dancehall chanter, Kinnah – real name Maliyakini Saizi – preaches the gospel of peace in his new song titled Rudo Harugume.
The Mbare bred chanter believes if there is peace and love, everything will flow smoothly.
He is well-known for his peace loving messages and has vowed to continue delivering music which shapes society.
In an interview, the Musombodhiya hit-maker said:
“As musicians, we are role models in society so we must deliver songs which entertain and educate people in these trying times.
“If we observe peace in everything love will prevail and everything will move in the right direction.
“This song does not only apply to musicians but to all aspects of life.
“I am encouraging people to have unconditional love.”
Mr Mbare, as he is fondly known in the music circles, told this publication that his fourth album titled Kudya Kushanda is now ready.
“I am confident it will do well in the music market.
“I am banking on the song Rudo Harungume and it has a flair of my popular song Musombodhiya.
“I also want to thank fans for the support which they have been giving me from day one.
“This album will take me to another level, I have done my best.
He also ruled out collaborations on this album but promised to do collabos which strengthen the grip of the genre.
Meanwhile, Kinnah is billed to perform twice in South Africa on September 23 and 24 in Cape Town as well as Pretoria.
He has three albums to his credit namely Chakatyokera, Still Young and Mukuru Ndimambo.
