BLACK Rhinos midfielder Donald Mudadi is reported to be heading to Manica Diamonds for the 2019 season.
Sources at the Premiership newcomers told H-Metro that Mudadi signed a two-year deal.
Though Mudadi poured cold water on the rumours, he will not hesitate to take a deal a better earnings.
And Manica Diamonds have made it public that they will spend to match competition of the top flight league.
“I haven’t signed anything yet [but] my top priority will be money. I will consider a well-funded club. Those are just fake rumors, I am still on the market.
“Deciding is never easy and I am taking my time to make sure I make the best decision,” Mudadi told H-Metro.
Mudadi’s contract with Black Rhinos expired last month and has also received interests from Ngezi Platinum.
He said Rhinos was a stepping stone for greater things ahead.
“Rhinos was a stepping stone for me and it still is. Stepping stones are used to get you to your desired destination, you are not going to be there forever.
“I enjoyed my stay at Rhinos and they still want me there but, I am going for clubs with really fat pockets.
“I started my career with Rhinos and I am forever grateful for the opportunity they gave me,” he said.
He, however, does not rule out a reunion with Chauya Chipembere.
“It’s not like I am saying this because I have already left Rhinos. I am still weighing my options.
“I guess time will tell. I am not ruling them out in my 2019 plans, maybe they will table a lucrative offer that I won’t resist and that will be it.
“I am looking for greener pastures,” he added.
Other players who are believed to be on their way out at Rhinos includes Edgar Chijigi, Ashley Rayners and Allan Gahadzikwa.
