POPULAR musicians, including Jah Signal and Baba Harare, headline a double free show meant to introduce a new entertainment hub – Electric Quench.
The new venue, formerly Extra Mile Leisure Spot, has rebranded with a lot of activities lined up.
The entertainment galore starts with a free show tomorrow where Baba Harare, Jah Signal, Progress Chipfumo, Kinna and Beverly Sibanda are set to entertain the crowd.
Dadza D and Guspy Warrior headline the Saturday free show backed by Garry B and Templeman.
Event coordinator Joe Munyebvu said the free shows will be part of the new concept after the rebranding.
Munyebvu of Joey Enterprises said Electric Quench comes with a completely new set up meant to bring variety to their patrons.
“There are a number of activities lined up introducing this new entertainment hub.
“We have noted that people are entertainment starved so we decided to have this line up for free shows for two days;” said Munyebvu.
The popular leisure spot situated after the Mbudzi roundabout along Masvingo road comes with a facelift, which the organisers say is meant to cater for all age groups.
“The place comes with a facelift. We want to make sure that all our patrons enjoy and feel comfortable when they come at Electric Quench,” he said.
With Baba Harare and Bev on the name stage, fireworks are expected when they perform the song Automatically.
Bev features in the video for the song, which is enjoying rave reviews on social media platforms.
Jah Signal has also been doing well of late while Chipfumo rarely disappoints when he invades the stage.
Kinna is known for his command on stage, which has endeared him with dancehall followers.
