ADMIRAL MUSKWE was on target as Wycombe Wanderers beat Rotherham United 3-0 to boost their Championship survival hopes.
The Zimbabwe international fired the Chairboys into the lead two minutes into the game.
Muskwe – who is on loan from Leicester City – had last found the net in his team’s 7-2 defeat to Brentford in January.
The Warriors forward, however, rediscovered his scoring form to help his side cruise to an impressive away win.
Muskwe – who now boasts two goals so far this term – was replaced in the 87th minute for Garath
McCleary.
Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth praised his charges for the performance that left them eight
points from safety.
“I don’t want The Great Escape theme tune being played too much at the moment.
“But I am the proudest manager in the Championship and I am buzzing because that was a great
performance.
“It is game on for us because everyone had written us off.
“I am just gutted the first-half of the season didn’t go like the second, because we’d be well in the mix,” he told the media after the game.
