IT’S hard not to like Lloyd Mutasa because, naturally, he is a good man.
It’s almost impossible not to feel sorry for him, on the occasions things don’t go according to plan for him because, naturally, he is a man who draws a lot of sympathy towards himself.
Mutasa’s quest to bring Premiership football to Norton, something which he has been working on for about two years now, comes just to this match – against AGAMA at Ngoni today.
Of course, his fate is not in his hands and not even a win today can guarantee his men the ticket to the top-flight league.
That will depend on the outcome of some boardroom issues related to the abandoned match between Scottland and Karoi United.
But, Mutasa knows that for his men to even entertain any chance of success they have to win today.
At the beginning of last month, they appeared to have sealed the championship race when they led by seven points.
But, then, things started going downhill and they find themselves in a must-win final game of the season.
Mutasa is a very religious man and he will need all his prayers to end up on the winning side.
