Herentals midfielder Juan Mutudza says he had a good year as he feels it was a peak of his career.
The young lad was amongst the Under 23s this season and also was called twice during the CHAN games qualifiers.
He scored five goals this season and he pointed the need to do better next year.
“It has been a great year for me and a great improvement in terms of being consistency. I played a lot of games and managed to get goals compared to last season.
“I think 2019 for me was the beginning of great things in my career and I have been to the National team for my first time and that was a dream come true being part of the Zimbabwe under 23 which played in South Africa and Bulawayo.
“That was my greatest achievement then CHAN National team call ups twice I felt special and I’m hoping and praying for the best in future. This year has been demanding for me and the team but through all that we managed to survive relegation this season,” he said.
Asked about how other clubs are looking forward to sign him, he responded by saying:
“That I don’t know yet maybe yes maybe no but I’m still a Herentals FC Player. I don’t know what future holds but God time is the best.”
“As an individual next year I have to get goals and finish my season well so that next year it will be easy.
“As a team if we get a silver wear next season that will be great, I’m sure every player needs that.
“I also wish for more National team call ups but I have to work hard to achieve that so that I can represent my country and that is all I need for now, to have more experiences.
