CAPS UNITED coach Lloyd Chitembwe has assured the Makepekepe fans on the availability of defender Method Mwanjale in their next encounter.

Mwanjale was a noticeable absentee in their 1-0 loss to ZPC Kariba amid reports that the prodigal son’s contract had expired end of June.

But coach Chitembwe has cleared the air stating that Mwanjale is still part of the team.

“I am sure Method issue is not serious.

“He’s contract is going to end on July 15 so for now his still part of the team and I can assure you that on Sunday he will prove that he part of the CAPS United family.

“With regards to the extension of his contract, it is safely in our hands.

“The administration will definitely have a chat with the boy and he assured me that he wants to continue at CAPS,” he said.

The 2016 coach of the year believes they have good side and they will not be signing any player.

“There is no need for us to be in hurry to decide who should come and join the team.

“Personally, I believe we have good side to see us through and with the demands within this season, we have quite capable players within our structures.

“It is also good for our pockets to make sure we do not waste money,” said Chitembwe.
