NUTTY O joined the elite league of stars when he put on a polished performance at the Harare International Conference Centre on Saturday.
Dubbed “Redefined Concert @ HICC”, the Mbare-bred chanter lived up to expectations as he gave fans real value for their money at the well-attended gig.
He won the hearts of many as he opted for sing along tracks such as Handiperi Power, Boom Shelele, Kokai and Vroom, among others.
It was evident the pint-sized chanter was well prepared for the gig as he gelled with his live band that backed him.
Exuding confidence, Nutty O’s chemistry with fans was excellent.
However, Winky D and Jah Prayzah nearly spoiled the night as they delayed their appearance on stage.
H-Metro moles said the two camps argued on who should start after Nutty O’s performance.
After an unexplained delay, Winky D started and simply gave it his all.
It was yet another energy sapping performance from the Vigilance clan known for giving it all wherever they perform.
He took fans down memory lane as he played both old and new numbers.
Jah Prayzah was the closing act.
However, some fans could be seen leaving after Winky’s act.
However, Jah Prayzah was not deterred and delivered a fine performance.
For a change, event organisers nailed it this time around.
The lighting was superb while the sound was perfect. Meanwhile, versatile club wheel-spinner, DJ Iroq, had a good day in office as he wowed fans during intervals and short breaks with a sleek selection of songs.
Popular emcees, Abisha Palmer and KVG, lived to expectations.
The duo worked overtime as they covered for the two big guns – Winky D and Jah Prayzah.
