NSINGIZINE Hotspurs forward, Nyasha Chintuli, is excited to be back in action after shaking off a nagging injury that kept him on the sidelines for a while.
Chintuli had a flying start in the Eswatini league where he scored a hat-trick on his debut before he was grounded by injury.
On Saturday, he was introduced as a second-half substitute and inspired his side to a 2-1 comeback victory against Mbabane Highlanders, in a league match.
Chintuli scored the second goal that won his side maximum points.
It brought his tally to four goals in the league.
Last season, the bustling forward struggled to settle at Dynamos and managed only a single goal.
Chintuli is optimistic that he has finally shaken off the injury.
“It’s tough to suffer an injury when you are trying to hit the ground running. It’s a major setback and the recovery at times takes longer than expected but I can say slowly I have managed to get back to my best.
“Mbabane Highlanders command a lot of respect here and also have a huge following compared to other teams. So, coming in and scoring a winning goal for my team against them, is encouraging and uplifting.
“Scoring goals is always my priority and getting this one was a good feeling for me. I am looking forward to adding more goals to my name and winning more games for my team.
“So I will continue working hard on and off the pitch for me to achieve team and club goals as I need to be consistent in my performances.
“There are several other guys who are here who keep on pushing me to do my best.”
