Organisers of the recently held online bible seminar hosted by Reverend Ock Soo Park, founder of Good News Mission and International Youth Fellowship (IYF), says the conference was meant to give hope during these trying times of Covid-19.
The pandemic has infected and affected many people around the globe bringing great misery around the globe.
It was this sad reality that inspired the online bible seminar according to Pastor James Shim who heads Good News Mission Zimbabwe church.
“The online bible seminar was held to give hope and comfort to the people who are exhausted because of the situation today.
“There are many situations in life but of late Covid-19 has caused great anguish globally,” he said.
“We are praying for the citizens of Zimbabwe and for your safety.
“We ask for the favour of our Lord so that we can overcome this situation.
“We pray for the grace of God to be with us.”
The online broadcast held was held for four days in 94 countries reaching out to millions across the globe.
It was interpreted in 26 languages.
Shem added that they are also in talks with ZBC to see that the seminar is broadcast on the national channel for the sake of those that missed the online seminars.
“Many broadcasting stations did it in many countries including the United States, Europe as well as Kenya, Zambia and Malawi.
“We are hoping Zimbabweans will also be able to watch it on ZBC TV once everything has been agreed and confirmed,” he said.
