OFFICIAL opening of The Heart Stadium, which had been set for Sunday November 5, has been moved to a date to be announced.
Prophet Walter Magaya told Zimpapers Sports that some key guests have commitments elsewhere within SADC this weekend and hence the decision to move the date to allow them to attend.

Prophet Magaya paid tribute to the Sports Ministry and the Sports and Recreation Commission.
“I have received tremendous help from the Ministry of Sports and SRC,” he said.
“Everything is ready and we are done in terms of what we wanted for this phase of the building of the stadium.
“I am just waiting for the Ministry to give the the dates when we can officially open the stadium.”
He added that some guests who had already made their way for the opening ceremony are willing to stay for the new date.
“We respected the need for our very important guests from Zimbabwe and the region to be there,” said Prophet Magaya.
“We have a number of guests from the region who are already in the country for the opening. They are prepared to wait for some days as they celebrate my birthday with me.
“We respect authorities and we do not have pressure to open so we wait.
“I cannot give the actual date but wait for direction from the Ministry of Sports,” said Prophet Magaya.Tourism minister, Barbra Rwodzi also toured the stadium last month
