MANILA. – Manny Pacquiao is reportedly intent on coming out of retirement to compete at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
The 44-year-old called time on his 72-fight professional career following a loss to Yordenis Ugas in 2021 but has remained active.
Pacquiao returned to the ring in December to take on South Korean YouTube star DK Yoo in an exhibition bout, winning a six-round unanimous decision.
According to a report from talkSPORT, Philippine Olympic Committee president Abraham Tolentino confirmed Pacquiao was exploring a return at next year’s Games.
‘Senator Pacquiao’s camp reached out saying our Filipino ring idol wants to fight in Paris,’ Tolentino said in a statement. – Mailonline
