HERENTALS striker Paddington Nyamakura says they are looking forward to ‘bow out’ of the Chibuku Super Cup on a high note.
The Students, who are already out of the competition, face Yadah in their last game of the group stage at the National Sports Stadium tomorrow.

And Nyamakura, who is expecting to make his second debut, has rallied his teammates to carry on from their 3-0 win over Harare City in the previous match.

The gangly striker rejoined the club in July and has been on the sidelines due to an ankle injury.

He told H-Metro Sport yesterday that he is now fit and hope to start against the Miracle Boys.

“I am now fit and had a discussion with the coach over it. He will make the decision but I look forward to make my second debut for the club.
“We hope to bow out on a positive note. Of course we are out of the competition but we need to finish strong. That is the same message to those who are going to represent the badge. We want to carry on with the momentum from the previous match,” said Nyamakura.

Herentals recorded their first win of the campaign at City, having endured a bad spell.

The team’s head coach Kumbirai Mutiwekuziva recently spoke highly of Nyamakura whom he described as a boost to the club.

Mutiwekuziva said they have already shifted focus to the PSL season which is expected to start before the end of this year, barring late changes.

“The arrival of Paddy is a boost to the club especially at a time we were not that sharp upfront. He is elated to be with us and everyone at the club is ready to have him.”
