A VEGETABLE garden with a collection of women’s undergarments and used insulin injections.
Sounds strange?
Well, that’s what an elderly woman found in her garden in Dzivarasekwa 2 recently.
Gogo Tshili found panties and bras of various colours in her garden.
There is now an air of mystery within the community as it tries to figure out what could have brought the panties and bras to her garden.
“I could not believe my eyes. I have been gardening at this spot for many years and I have never encountered this before.
“It’s very disturbing as women’s undergarments are private clothes. Recently I woke up to find human faeces in my garden, but I assumed these were acts of naughty children who play around the garden.
“The undergarments may be a sign of witchcraft.”
Speculation over the origins of the collection of apparel ignited a frenzy among witnesses.
“We suspect a thief might have stolen a bag containing them and dumped them in Gogo’s garden after finding that the items were of no use to him,” said Patricia Kayinge, a witness.
Another witness, Feline Makunya, said there were signs of spiritualism and satanism.
“Many are engaging in rituals and engage in such acts to attain whatever they wish for,” she said.
