MANICA Diamonds defender Peace Makaha says they are cautious ahead of their next encounter against Dynamos at Rufaro.
Both teams are coming from wins, Dynamos defeating FC Platinum 1-0 while Manica are coming from a resounding 3-0 win over Yadah.
Makaha said they have a huge task ahead but will treat the encounter like any other match.
“This will be one of our toughest tasks ahead. We have to keep on working hard and make sure that we try our best to come back with a positive result.
“We are playing a big team, which will be banking on the home advantage and their fan base.
“They are also coming from a win. Their morale is high up there. They are a dangerous team, we have to be at our level best to overcome them,” said Makaha.
This will be Makaha’s first game to play against his former team, after joining Manica at the beginning of this season.
Makaha said he is bracing up for a Rufaro return but said he is worried about fans’ response.
“It will be a tough game for me, I have to stay focused and get the job done for my team.
“No strings attached, it’s all about what is best for Manica. I know the fans will have something to say whether good or bad.
“I just have to mind my own business and own a strong mind by avoiding to let what they say affect me or my performance,” he added.
Makaha said Dynamos will always be a big team no matter what and he said it’s a game that automatically demands you to gear up.
He said playing against Dynamos will act as motivation.
The two team are separated with a point with Manica sitting on 15 while DeMbare have fourteen.
