South Africa based music producer, Pepzee – real name Ishmael Majaya – says leaving the county has opened more doors for him as a music producer.
The award-winning 27-year-old producer is working with Phil Medzani’s Platinum Records.
Pepzee who recently recorded Jah Love’s new track entitled “Hazvipere mushe” and the “African Dreams” riddim revealed that his aim is to become a top producer on the continent.
“My dream is to be a top producer on the continent some day and I feel working from this end where I am exposed to many things has helped me visualise that dream.
“I work with various artistes of different nationalities as well as producers which has networked me and keeps me learning a lot which I find to be a great step when one once to be at the top.
“I also have a number of projects I am still working on for Dino Mudondo and Tocky Vibes which will be released quite soon.
“All thanks go to Platinum Records for the exposure and experience and i know there is more still to come as we share the same dream of conquering Africa,” said Pepzee.
Pepzee started music production in 2013 and has recorded a number of songs with artistes like Ti Gonzi, Noble Stylez, and Nyasha Timbe among many others.
