Ronald Pfumbidzai has signed a new contract with Bloemfontein Celtic that will keep him at the club until 2013.
The Warriors defender joined Celtic in 2017 from CAPS United.
Pfumbidzai says he has decided to stay at Celtic because he was happy at the club.
“I am very happy to extend my stay here. It means a lot to me because it shows I am doing right.
“And I have decided to stay here because I consider this team as home. I have become to love this place and team so I had to consider this offer of extending my contract when it came.
“So yeah I am happy that I signed here” he said.
“It’s been a privilege playing here and I want to thank the club for this opportunity to continue my career at Celtic.
“And I just want to continue working hard in helping the club achieve its target because it can only be God and hard work that has brought me thus far.
“I am grateful for this opportunity and all I can say that the best is yet to come. I can’t promise much but I will give my all to the team”
When asked if he has intentions of moving Pfumbidzai says.
“For me it’s like my second home since I signed here in 2017 I am enjoying every moment of it.
“It doesn’t mean that I don’t have intentions of moving but in football you have to weigh many things, it’s not about money only.
“But I am not ruling a move but when the right time comes or team they will come and get me, “he said.
