Songbird Plaxedes Wenyika will today unveil her new album titled Phoenix Rising just in time ahead of the festive season.
The 40-year-old’s much anticipated effort, her seventh studio album, carries eight tracks.
She last released an album in 2017.
“I have been pursuing my entrepreneurial side. I am into digital marketing and l recently launched a skincare range.
She worked with producers like Gold Fingers, Rodney Beats and MacDee.
In an interview with H-Metro Entertainment & Lifestyle, she said:
“This album is for the grown and sexy. It’s for music lovers that love soul music.
“I am a multi-faceted woman. A mum, a creative, singer and entrepreneur. I am a self-love advocate.
“That life is precious, make the most out of it. Live your fullest, forgive and have fun,” she said.
Plaxedes also assured her fans that the new album was worth the wait and purchase.
“Just get ready for the fireworks,” she added.
She also took the opportunity to announce and thank her partners who are set to make her virtual launch a success.
These comprise Nyaradzo Group, Ecocash Zimbabwe, Golden Pilsener, Zimoco Zimbabwe and Edgars Stores.
