Winky D fans were left very disappointed at the Castle Lager National Braai Festival on Saturday night at the Old Hararians Sports Club.
The popular dancehall artiste walked off stage while he was about to perform his hit song muGarden.
This was due to bad sound feedback which the engineers took a while to fix.
Before he walked away, Winky D tried to liaise with the engineers but failed.
This resulted in throwing of empty bottles and confusion as people were going out disappointed.
Winky D’s manager Jonathan Banda who is usually vocal when it comes to the treatment of his artiste, refused to comment of the issue.
However, it was evident that Winky D’s fans were in solidarity with the chanter.
Other artistes who performed at the braai fest comprise Freeman, ExQ and Takura among an array of wheel-spinners.
It was indeed a fete to remember as merry-makers partied with their peers while imbibing beers at affordable prices.
There are however calls to take the fete to other parts of the country to ensure that fans and Delta Beverages consumers get a feel of the annual fete.
