Zimbabwe international Prince Dube has returned to training at his Tanzanian side Azam, after months on the
sidelines due to injury.
The club announced the development yesterday saying the Warriors star is now ready for competitive action.
“Our striker, Prince Dube, has started light training and ready to return to the field for competitive matches.
“Welcome back stronger Smiling Assassin,” posted Azam.
The former Highlanders star has been nursing sports hernia complications that saw him travelling to South Africa for treatment.
The 23-year-old struggled with injuries that saw him missing Zimbabwe’s World Cup qualifiers.
Dube, who joined Azam in 2020, last played in the Tanzanian topflight towards the end of last season.
He featured for his side in their pre-season tour of Zambia where he aggravated his injury.
