UPCOMING gospel artist, Esther “Queen Esther” Kanengoni, says her transition from other genres has been working well for her.
She has come up with another song titled Waponeswa.
Queen Esther collaborated with Samukoko on the new song, which was released five days ago.
“I have learned a lot of skills in my music career. Some of the skills are to be unique, creating my own brand and not trying to copy others but just to be me.
“I was doing different types of genres but now I am focused on gospel music.
“People have received it very well and people are encouraging me to do more songs.”
She added:
“I grew up in a Christian family where we used to go to church and I loved singing.”
