Rapper MBJ ends three-year album drought

RAPPER and songwriter, MBJ, has bounced back with an album after having gone quiet for close to three years.

After releasing his album, Celebrate Life, in 2020, MBJ has returned with the remake of the same project

It carries six songs like Jonah, featuring T. Gonzi, and Dope, featuring American rapper Micky Zillions, among others.

Tracks on the compilation were produced by Real Beats Kidd Ganna and Dr Lee.

“Deluxe edition is when an artist adds more songs to an album that has already been released.

“After having been quiet for a while, I decided to do a deluxe edition of the last album I did in 2020 so that I remind listeners what we last did and where we are heading.

“I added songs like Jonah, featuring T Gonz and Dope, featuring Micky Zillions.

“I was inspired to add more tracks to the album because I believe something is missing from the previous album.

“My last album was officially released in the US.

“I believe I didn’t give much attention to my Zimbabwean fans and so, with this deluxe edition, I’m going to engage with my local fans,” said MBJ.
