REAL Betis Academy Zimbabwe Under-21 is set to have a week-long tour in South Africa.
They are scheduled to play Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United and Jomo Cosmos.
The academy was launched in Harare in 2020 and has managed to also expand to Bulawayo.
It has grown by leaps and bounds through the years.
Last year the academy went on a dream tour to Spain at La Liga side, Real Betis Balompie.
Academy chairman, Gerald Sibanda, said they were delighted to take some of their academy players to participate against the best youth teams in South Africa.
“We are delighted to participate and expose our outstanding Academy First Team players against some of South Africa’s best youth teams,” said Sibanda.
“As we continue to grow and develop Zimbabwean talent, it is important to build synergies with competitive professional clubs within our region.
“We are very excited to showcase our talent and build long-lasting relations with top professional clubs in South Africa,” he said.
