BLACK Rhinos Queens ran riot in Masvingo as they registered their biggest win of the season, beating Masvingo Queens 15-0 on Saturday.
Correctional Queens also visited Masvingo in June and scored 12 goals past the hosts.
On Saturday, Rutendo Makore was the highest scorer with seven goals. Eunice Basopo was on target four times with Violet scoring a brace while Viola Ndlovu and Eunice Chibanda scored a goal each.
Dorothy Mugari the assistant coach for Rhinos was barking orders from the bench as the head coach Brian Derera did not travel with the team.
Masvingo Queens tried as much as they could to contain the marauding Black Rhinos Queens but they found them too hot to handle and they only had one shot at goal the entire match.
The army team could have doubled the score but were denied what looked like legitimate goals due to poor officiating.
The Rhinos team featured Viola Ndlovu, Eunice Chibanda, Violet Bepete, Kudakwashe Basopo, Talent Mandaza, Patience Mujuru, Linnet Mutokuto, Daisy Kaitano and Rufaro Machingura who are all members of the Mighty Warriors.
Mugari was excited with the victory
‘I was happy with the spirit from my players and we are now focusing on Conduity Academy. It was quite an achievement and our super substitute Violet (Bepete) also played a bigger part.
‘W ended to continue working hard and see what happens at the end of the season,” said Mugari
Her counterpart, Bigboy Masocha admitted that his team was still learning the ropes.
‘We are improving with each outing. Rhinos were too good for us and people must always remember that they are the champions and they are talented.
“They are an experienced side and for us to play against them it was more like an honor, ‘he said.
Meanwhile Wee Rams were held to another disappointing draw at home.
Sendile Nyoni the center back opened the scoresheet for the hosts only for Zvishavane to equalize in the second half through Fortunate Nyoka who beat Thelma Timire.
Zvishavane Pirates had a bad start but they have now gained confidence and are collecting points even away from home.
