FOUR security guards had their hands and legs tied with shoelaces by three robbers, who bundled them into a toilet, before they got away with US$1 600 from Budiriro 1 High School in Harare.
The pistol-wielding robbers used an iron bar to break the main door lock, entered the reception before breaking down doors into the offices of the bursar, headmaster, deputy headmaster and senior teacher.
National police spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, appealed for information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects.
“The suspects used an object and broke a safe in the bursar’s office and stole US$700. They ransacked the offices and took US$900 in the headmaster’s office,” said Asst -Comm Nyathi.
