LISBON. – Cristiano Ronaldo has shown off his latest £2m Ferrari Daytona SP3 (insert), as the Portugal star adds to his fleet of supercars.
He has returned to the country for international duty after missing the last friendly against Sweden, and played all 90 minutes of Tuesday’s 2-1 loss away in Slovenia.
While in his home country, he showed off his fancy new Ferrari at the Four Seasons Hotel, before joining up with his international teammates.
The footage was posted on Instagram, with an account called Lisbon Cars dubbing the vehicle ‘CR7 newest spaceship’.
The newly-acquired car is thought to be worth €2m, and joins his fleet of other expensive cars, which was reported last year to be worth £18m in total – and that’s ignoring his more recent purchases.
The 39-year-old was seen behind the wheel taking to the streets of Portugal, with the new model coming with Ferrari’s most powerful combustion engine to date.
It delivers 840 horsepower and 697 Nm of torque, with a maximum speed of 340km/h.
The car can also go from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.85 seconds.
His passion for cars nearly caused him a serious injury in 2009 when he crashed and wrecked a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano worth £200,000 days before Manchester United played Chelsea, but he escaped unhurt. – Mailonline
