DEFENDER Ronald Pfumbidzai says he has settled well at SuperSport in the South African Premier Soccer League.
The former CAPS United star joined SuperSport this season from fellow Premiership side, Chippa United, in what was a career upgrade.
At Matsatsansa, Pfumbidzai joined fellow Zimbabweans – George Chigova, Terrence Dzvukamanja, Onismo Bhasera and Washington Arubi.
The club has the biggest contingent of Zimbabweans in Supa Diski.
“The experience here has been fantastic and I have really adapted well,” he told H-Metro.
“This is recognised as one of the big teams here.
“And, I think I am now getting the experience that I need to improve myself as a player and to better my skills.”
Pfumbidzai has so far featured in five league games and one MTN Cup game, which they lost in the quarter-finals in extra time against Stellenbosch.
“I’m happy that I have managed to get some game time since my arrival here.
“I am looking forward to playing more games at the top level and help the club.”
He added:
“I keep thanking God for the opportunity presented to me.
“I think it’s every player’s dream to play for a team where he is happy and I feel at home here.
“It’s a good feeling personally as I am trying my best to do my best and help in any way I can.
“I take each and every game seriously, no mater it’s our league games or cup games.
“I have the same respect for my opponents.”
