AFTER taking a sabbatical to pursue her studies, gospel singer Rumbi Zvirikuzhe has set November 4 as the day of her sixth album launch.
Titled Zvoramba Sei Apa, the album is laden with songs of hope and encourages music lovers to trust God in difficult situations.
Songs to look forward to on the nine-track album include Tenzi Nditungamirei, Mweya Wangu, We Shall Overcome, and Mununuri Jesu, among others.
The launch has been slated for the Anglican Cathedral where Bethan Pasinawako and Pastor Josh Kays will also perform.
In an interview, Rumbi said she can’t wait to reconnect with fans.
“I am confident this new album holds a breakthrough for someone going through life challenges. There is a God who commands his blessing on us and I hope the songs will encourage everyone to trust God’s processes,” said Rumbi.
She said the latest album is special and will define her as an established gospel artist.
“My new album touches on all aspects and is special to me and the fans as it reaffirms my commitment to changing lives through music.
“Gospel lovers must expect good music, I still have what it takes,” said Rumbi.
Rumbi has promised to add visuals to a few songs to appeal more to her fans.
The album was done by Blessing Masanga at his Heartland Studios.
Rumbi’s five other albums are Mwari Inhare, Tenzi Chiramba Kusakara, Restoration, Mutsa Washe (God’s Grace) and Kwajeka.
She has worked with fellow gospel artists like Rev TT Chivaviro’s Ebenezer.
