SA ARTISTES SPICE UP HEAVYWEIGHT DJS CLASH

TOP South African Amapiano artistes — Toss and Tyler ICU — will headline the inaugural Carling Black Label DJ Clash set for Bulawayo’s Zimbabwe International Trade Fair Grounds tonight.

The duo will perform at the after-party show.

At least, 24 finalists will be vying for the honours and the grand prize of US$3 000, a controller, Apple Mac Laptop, studio monitor and a codeless microphone.

The finalists were drawn from Bulawayo, Harare, Chitungwiza, Chinhoyi, Gweru, Masvingo and Mutare.

Organisers, Delta Corporation, say everything is set for the grand finale.

“We are all set for the inaugural edition of the Carling Black Label DJ Clash this Friday.

“Congratulations to the 24 finalists who will be traveling to Bulawayo and battle for the ultimate title of National Champion DJ.

“As always, this is our way to say thank you to our customers all over the country as talented Djs battle for the highly coveted prizes, worth over US$15,000,” said Delta Corporation marketing director, Irimayi Muzorewa.

The runner-up will take home US$2 000, a sound monitor and a codeless microphone.

Some of the DJs, who have qualified, include Stephen Vembo (DJ Stavo), Tafadzwa Mazuru (DJ Doc) from Masvingo, Courage Gumbo (DJ Explicit), Nkosiyethu Ncube (DJ 007) from Gweru.

Spencer Chirinda (Dj Tino) and Tony Mabvurunge (Dj Toxi-Gin) will represent Bulawayo while Harare’s hopes will be pinned on Ngoni Ralf (DJ Uncle Slim) and others.
