The wait is over!
Celebrated South African Amapiano kings DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small are expected in the country ahead of their debut show at the Hippodrome tonight.
There is already a feeling the duo will stage the Show of the Year as fans are already anticipating an electrifying atmosphere.
DJ Maphorisa is likely to continue in his good mood after celebrating his birthday with friends last Saturday.
“Harare see you soon, it’s been a long time,” posted Kabza De Small earlier this week.
His post was met with positive comments as Harare fans finally get a chance to meet the pair at close contact since their formation in 2019.
This is the first time the duo will be performing in Harare and their visit is courtesy of Mashwede Entertainment.
The South African duo will share the stage with Holy Ten, Master H, and Tamy Moyo.
Local deejays including DJ Iroq, Mc Tats, Luckie D, Rax The DJ and Ryan Synth will also provide cover at the event.
Rising chanter, Master has also confirmed his participation at tonight’s event.
“It’s gonna be greater, Harare, let’s meet at the Hippodrome for another special night as we share the stage with the Amapiano Kings,” said Master H.
One of the show organisers, DJ Iroq, has promised fans the time of their lives.
“The wait is over and the Scorpion Kings will be performing at the Hippodrome tomorrow (today) and as promised this is going to be an event of a lifetime.
“As Mashwede, we are proud to collaborate on a masterpiece that seeks to bridge cultures and genres while celebrating our rich African musical heritage,” said DJ Iroq.
