DYNAMOS captain Edward ‘Duduza’ Sadomba who missed the team’s season opener due to injury has been declared fit for their next assignment, H-Metro has learnt.
DeMbare host Hwange at Rufaro on Sunday coming from a 2-0 win over Mushowani.
Another player Ngandu Mangala who was substituted late in the previous fixture is also back in training.
This means the two attackers will be available for selection on Sunday unless they pick other injuries during the week at training.
The Glamour Boys’ team doctor Robert Musara confirmed the developments.
“We did a scan on Sadomba to evaluate his condition and map out a way forward. Based on the scan we did on him, it showed that he has recovered well.
“As the medical team we cleared him and he is fully fit to feature in the team’s next assignment. The decision is now up to the coach to decide but fitness wise he is good to go,” said Musara.
“It’s unfortunate the team missed his services in their first match of the season.
“We have been cautious about him,” he added.
“Mangala is also fully fit. The injury was soft and it will not rule him out of their next game.
“He is fit,” said Musara.
The duo’s combination has proved deadly in the pre-season charity match against CAPS United, which they both scored in a 2-0 win.
There are also hopes that Cameroonian duo of Herve Mbega and Ngahan Claude Junior will have their immigration issues sorted to be available for Sunday’s encounter.
DeMbare manager Richard Chihoro said efforts are being made to iron out the issues with a possible chance of unleashing them against Hwange.
The duo has been enterprising during training in the pre-season and are reported to be part of coach Lloyd Chigowe’s plans for the season.
