The Cranborne Bullets enjoy a five-point advantage at the top although Black Mambas are threatening a bruising second half.

Saruchera’s charges secured third place in 2017 and 2018 and are now keen on winning promotion into the Premiership.

Saruchera said they will keep on collecting maximum point to break their record of not performing well during the second half.

“We have allowed our players to rest for just a week and today we have resumed our training.

“We are not going to rest until we end as first placed, we want to maintain our status,” he said yesterday.

Cranborne Bullets will welcome the 12th placed Kariba Waves in their second half opener.

“I am very happy with my players’ performances, they have done wonders during the first half.

“We managed to achieve what we wanted to achieve in the first half.

“I hope we will continue doing the same so as to maintain our place,” he said.

He added:

“We are going to add two or three more brilliant players who will add more value to the team and help us to hold on to our status,” he said.
