THEY are calling it the Scott Trinity!
You know the Holy Trinity and at Old Trafford they have the United Trinity.
George Best, Bobby Charlton and Dennis Law have been immortalised at Manchester United in the form of the United Trinity statue which stands outside Old Trafford.
Now, ambitious Premiership newboys Scottland United have now come up with their Scott Trinity.
It’s now official that the three best footballers in the domestic Premiership last season – Walter Musona, Khama Billiat and Lynoth Chikuhwa – will all play for Mabvirabvira this season.
Musona was crowned Soccer Star of the Year, Chikuhwa came second while Billiat was third.
Billiat won the Fans’ Choice Soccer Star of the Year award.
Chikuhwa won the Golden Boot with 17 league goals while Billiat was runner-up with 13 league goals.
Musona scored 10 goals while Tymon Machope, who has also been unveiled by Scottland, scored 11 goals for Simba Bhora last season.
This means that Scottland have added firepower to their attack by bringing in four forwards who scored 51 goals in the league last season.
Scottland announced that “war is coming,” as they announced their Scott Trinity.
The club have already announced the signing of Godknows Murwira, Mthokozisi Msebe, Michael Tapera, Kevin Moyo, Talbert Shumba, Nelson Chadya, Panashe Mutimbanyoka, Gareth Madhake, Tichaona Chipunza, Vasssili Kawe and Kingsley Mureremba.
Scottland were only promoted into the elite league last month.
However, they have dramatically changed the top-flight league’s landscape.
They have become the richest team in the league with a massive US$2,5 million war-chest going into the new season.
They received a US$1,5 million sponsorship package from Sakunda Holdings before getting a US$1 million cash injection from IMC Communications, which is owned by businessman Wicknell Chivayo.
