SEH Calaz yesterday congratulated Freeman for attracting a bumper crowd at Alex Sports Club on Saturday as a triumph for Zim dancehall.
Freeman launched his 13th album before a record crowd.
The event took place on the same night Seh Calaz was having his belated birthday celebrations in Mbare.
He also attracted a big crowd.
Seh Calaz took to social media and praised his counterpart.
“Freeman HKD. Good show Magalis. It’s a win-win for Zimdancehall#Takaipfuura,” wrote Calaz on his social media page.
His post was praised by fans.
The two events proved that Zim dancehall is here to stay contrary to reports that it “died” with Soul Jah Love.
It’s easier for an artist to improvise on stage when they are performing with live bands as is the case with several Zim dancehall artists.
