South African gospel musician, Khanyani Shoba, says he appreciates the support he gets from Zimbabwean music fans and also revealed that he would like to work with  gospel sensation, Janet Manyowa, one day.

Shoba, who is popular for the hit song Ngikunik’udumop that is currently playing on Zimbabwean airwaves said he plans to visit the country once the Covid-19 situation has relaxed.

Speaking to H-Metro Entertainment & Lifestyle he said:

 

“Zimbabwe is amazing in terms of supporting my music, it is played on various radio stations and on TV as well.

 

“It is such a humbling experience.

 

“I am planning to visit Zimbabwe when things are in control with covid-19and I will doing a song with one of the Zimbabwean gospel artistes. “I would very much like to work with Janet Manyowa.”

 

Meanwhile Shoba has released a new refreshing single titled “Mfalme Wa Wafalame.”

 

“The new single was inspired by God. He is the one who gave me the song to compose and sing and worship him.”

 

Apart from the new single he added that he is working on more music to be released in the near future. Shoba currently has one album to his name titled Ngikunik’udumo that carries 10 tracks. He started doing music professionally in 1999 with the group Sacred Fellows and then went solo in 2014.
