ELDER Shambare has lifted the lid on Silent Killer’s rampant drug abuse.
Elder Shambare, who recently quit as Silent Killer’s manager, told H-Metro that it was extremely hard working with the chanter due to his drug addiction.
“The issue isn’t at all about the contract ending but I have failed to put up with his behaviour, lack of seriousness about business issues and his life and drug abuse at the expense of building his career,” he said.
“I am afraid that if I tell you the real issues, it will further affect his career as fans and promoters will know the real Silent Killer.
“So, I just decided to put it lightly so that I don’t cause despondency in various quarters.”
This had been a good year for Silent Killer, who trended well and performed almost everywhere.
A few months ago, some users on X, formely Twitter, started propping him online by posting his lyrics, with others creating clips from some of his funniest songs.
The Locker Mastreets hitmaker even flew to the United Kingdom, at the end of October, for a number of shows before heading to South Africa.
It’s unclear who will manage Silent Killer’s career but, whoever it is, Elder Shambare believes the manager will have a very tough time.
