Popular producer DJ A Dem Litrik has dropped Silent Treatment riddim which urges people to speak out their problems and not die in silence.
The riddim features more than 10 chanters and will be out this week.
Speaking to H-Metro & Lifestyle, Litrik said the riddim was aimed at raising awareness on silent treatment.
“It’s an awareness that people have to speak out, even those in marriages, abusive relationships they have to speak out.
“Some people are ill-treated whilst in silent, we are being treated in a way that we are not expressing ourselves.
“The concept of the songs is that God need to help us, kunze uko tinenge tichisimbisana, but in our hearts we will be dying.
“What we think is beyond this, but silent is killing many people, since people are not speaking out,” said Litrik.
The riddim features Diana Rose, Empress CC, Empress Shine, Potato, Ras Lee, I Ratty, Major Keys, Minister Wadiwa, Kelvin Agust, Lisha T, Sharkstant, Private Number, G Natious, Soja Dee among many others.
“The Silent Treatment Riddim will be ready this weekend and it has been months of hard work.
“We put a lot of effort on this riddim and I did together with DJ Techniks. We are hoping that anticipation continues to be high until the date of release.
“The album is going to be available on all streaming platforms,” he said.
The riddim is under Litrik’s Afro Vision Studios Dj Tecniks’ Still We Rise Music.
