BOTSWANA based crooner Craib “Mr Chocolate” Muchenjekwa is on cloud nine.
This follows the launch of his debut album titled Gosheba Sheba, which he featured popular Motswana songstress Naledi “Slizer” Kaisara.
The duo of Mr Chocolate and Slizer collaborated on the title track Gosheba sheba which is accompanied by an international standard video which is set to shake the music industry.
Mr Chocolate, who fronts the New Age Chimurenga Stouch Band and labels his genre of music as Afro and Nehanda sound, said working with Slizer was a blessing to him.
“To be given an opportunity to do a collabo with a legend in the mould of Slizer was a blessing to me that I will forever cherish because I know it will open doors for me in the industry.
“I am forever grateful to her and her team for this opportunity. My wish is to reach her level and that of other artistes such as Davido, Jah Prayzah and many more.
“I am very optimistic about what lies ahead for me in the industry and I am ready to carve a name for myself in the industry. Music fans can look forward to what I have to offer,” he said.
The young and energetic chanter says he hopes to emulate the successes of fellow musician Mambo Dhuterere who was once based in Botswana and is now one of the biggest artistes in the country.
“My wish is to follow in the footsteps of my elders in the industry such as Mambo Dhuterere, Jah Prayzah, Freeman and more who have been raising the bar high in the industry and it is my wish that one day I will world with them,” he said.
