GOSPEL musician Farai “Social Doctor” Makandanje has embarked on an intensive drive to market his recently released album Kufanana NaJesu after he launched a website.
He said the move will enable his fans to have access to information wherever they are.
“The idea is ensure that fans get information and everything on the website.
“It will be easy to access the details about Social Doctor Music on the platform.
“Soon we will be launching an online store on the website and fans can buy our music and merchandise from the site as well.
“Booking and tickets for events will be done from the website www.socialdoctor.co.zw/,” he said.
Added Social Doctor:
“All care has been taken to ensure that the album will be available in most towns throughout the country as well as on all social media platforms. The album
has eight tracks produced by five producers.”
On this project, Social Doctor worked with Ngolomi again, but added other producers, including Maselo, Kukbeats, Gift Chipisa and Oskid, who worked on one song
Last year, he released Munoshamisa and produced by veteran Lyton Ngolomi at Lyton Studios. The backing vocals were done by gospel diva Bethen Pasinawako-Ngolomi.
“The track Gabhurona, is a hit, with a character called Gabhurona who is representing Christians who are not fully committed and it urges him to repent,” Social Doctor said.
The song was produced by the award-winning Oskid while Ngolomi produced tracks Unoda Shoko and Mari with the former talking about how difficult it is to live as a Christian without reading the Word of God.
Kufanana NaJesu carries eight tracks including Jehovha Pindirai, Vauya Baba, Unoda Shoko, Mari, Dai Waramba Uripo, Dzingori Nyasha, which features Blessing Shumba, Gabhurona and Nyarara Kuchema
. “The album was launched a recently,” Social Doctor said.
