SILAS Songani’s possible move to Sudanese giants Al-Hilal might fail after it emerged that the team’s management is not interested in the deal.
This is despite the technical team pushing for his acquisition.
Songani has been in Sudan for over two weeks on a trial stint.
Information reaching H-Metro, however, suggests that the FC Platinum midfielder is heading back home.
“Silas Songani is here in Khartoum. He is with the team but the club is not interested in signing him,” revealed a source in Sudan.
The source revealed that Songani has impressed the technical team but the management is reluctant on the deal.
“It has appeared that the coach was interested in him and asked management to sign him but they seem to have another opinion.
“The management told Edward Sadomba to inform Songani that he need to wait a little bit longer,” said the source.
Songani left the country together with Last Jesi who has since penned a three-year deal with Hilal from Manica Diamonds.
The duo was accompanied by Sadomba and agent George Deda, who have since returned into the country.
