Suluman Chimbetu will tomorrow hold a fundraising show at Theatre in the Park meant to benefit Chedenga Foundation.
A brainchild of actress and video vixen, Ratidzo Tava, the foundation looks after children in less privileged communities.
However, lack of funding has been the foundation’s major setback for them to reach out to the vulnerable children, which prompted Tava to come up with the benefit show.
He will be supported by Ammi Jamanda, Spider, Jah Lemmy, DJ Squila and Deejay Holy during the three-hour event starting at 5pm.
“In a proud partnership with Chedenga Foundation and Dollarbill Entertainment, we are bringing you the fundraising concert with Sulumani Chimbetu on Thursday 16 December 2021 between 5 pm and 8pm.
“Admission is $15 for the ordinary ticket and $30 VIP ticket Supporting acts are Ammi Jamanda, Spider, Jah Lemmy, DJ Squila, Deejay Holy and many more,” reads part of event coordinators Rooftop promotions.
According to the event organizers, the event will be happening in a strict observance of all the Covid-19 regulations.
Tava who is orgaising the event said it was all systems go.
“We have been helping less privileged children through the foundation to access medication as well as providing food.
“We have been facing a number of challenges, especially lack of funding to ensure that we assist these children.
“We then spoke to Suluman Chimbetu and other musicians in the line-up who offered to come a perform for this worth cause.
“We urge people to come and support us as we seek to change the less privileged children’s lives,” she said.
Chedenga Foundation started its operations in 2020.
Nyaradzo Group and Rooftop Promotions are also supporting the event.
