SULUMAN Chimbetu is set to release a new album tomorrow, ending months of anxiety.
His last album, Entanglement, was released in 2019.
“The new album is coming on December 21,” said Sulu.
“The album carries 12 tracks and we are looking for positive feedback.”
Sulu hinted at a surprise on this album.
“We have some in the pipeline and, with Jah Prayzah, we might surprise you at any time,” he said.
Sulu recently celebrated his late father Simon Chimbetu’s legacy with a festival in Chegutu.
“The new album will come as we promised, it is laden with polished tracks.”
He congratulated his hometown club, Chegutu Pirates, for their promotion into the Premier Soccer League.
The artist was a regular feature at the last two league matches as the Pirates, who are also known as Zaire and Dzinza, powered their way into the top-flight league.
He became part of the entertainment act, for free, dancing inside Pfupajena Stadium, to rock the capacity crowds.
“Congratulations to Chegutu Pirates for their promotion.
“The festival we held was a double celebration and we are going to hold it annually.”
“On that note, I would like to thank Dendera fans for their support and we hope to continue giving them good music.”
