A SUSECTED drug dealer, who operates in Southlea Park, was yesterday arraigned in court after being arrested in possession of 27 sachets of crystal meth.
Dangirai Karumba (48) was not asked to plead when he appeared before Harare magistrate Dennis Mangosi, who remanded him in custody to Thursday for bail considerations.
The court heard that on Saturday, detectives from CID Drugs received a tip-off that Karumba was dealing in crystal meth at PaShady shops in Stoneridge, Southlea Park.
Acting on the tip-off, detectives went to the shops and found Karumba dancing to music in Mashady Bar.
They took him outside, searched him and seized 27 small sachets of suspected crystal meth from his pockets.
The recovered drugs had a street value of $648 000.
