Zifa Southern Region Division One side Talen Vision ran riot to beat Toronto 13-0 on Friday as the race for the championship continues.
Rivals Bulawayo City were also 3-0 winners over Mainline to remain tied on 55 points with Vision, who now boasts of a massive superior goal difference.
Zephaniah Ngodzo,Chris Semakweri and Nkosilomusa Khanye scored for City.
For Vision, Grey Kufandada scored four times, Brian Muza scored a hat-trick, Adrian Banana and Itai Mabhunu a brace each while Adonis Nyoni and Velilie Wenga scored once each.
There are four games left to play.
City head coach Try Ncube was happy with the result and he remains hopeful that his side will return to the top-flight by end of season.
“It’s a good result for us, we are not worried about the goals. We remain hopeful about the promotion because we still have four more games to play,” he said
Mkhuphali Masuku, the Talen Vision coach, was satisfied with the result as they needed nothing but a win.
“We are quiet happy and satisfied with the result, what’s important for us is to win and we did what we are supposed to do. Where we are right now is not a trying point we have to give our best,” said the coach.
