RAPPER of the year contender King 98 is a complete artiste who has the potential to silence all doubting Thomas.
This was said by visiting Tanzanian R’nB sensation Juma Jux who is currently in the country on a media tour.
Jux collaborated with the 22-year-old rapper in the song Jogodo along with Shebby Medicine, the new and emerging Bongo Flava star on the song.
Speaking to journalist shortly after his arrival at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, Jux said King 98 was a complete artistes w has nothing to prove.
“King 98 is a talented boy, he has just arrived and he knows what he is doing, he must keep on working hard,” he said.
Jux also warned the Francesca hit-maker to desist from dating dirty girls.
“He needs to keep away from women and work hard, he is a talented artistes who knows what he is doing.
“We have been friends for a while and we linked up through music and I am happy to be here in Zimbabwe,” he added.
In another interview, King 98 could not hide his elation after he invited the Tanzanaia rapper to come to Zimbabwe.
“I’m grateful to Jux who has just visited me, he is a talented musician that I hope to continue working with.
“We collaborated on the Jogodo and the concept came out well and this visit is a bit special to us,” he added.
The song Jogodo was produced by S2kizzy, mixed by producer Laizer and the video was directed by Director Kenny.
The song is currently trending well on various social media platforms.
This is the second track that he has collaborated with a Tanzanian artiste after Kachiri, a huge collboraiton featuring Diamond Platinum.
In his efforts to establish himself in Africa, King 98 has been working with the contingent’s best producers.
In October, he invited Nigerian top producer Speraoch Beatzz who came and produced a number of the rapper’s songs.
Last month, another producer from the West African country, Lond was I the capital as King 98 continues to spread wings.
Early this year, he won hearts of many when he released the video Kachiri featuring Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz.
He recently toured the East African country for a media tour where he also shared the stage with Diamond.
Prior to this production, King 98 also collaborated with Nigerian star Davido and Zlatan.
Closer home in South Africa, he has been working with Nasty C whom he descrived as a brother.
King 98 and Nasty C are good buddies both on and off the stage as the pair once toured South Africa during the Ivyson Tour help in memory of the late South African rapper’s mother.
The last leg of the tour was held in the capital where local acts had an opportunity to exchange notes with some of the country’s finest rappers.
