TELONE coach Jairos Tapera was satisfied with his side collecting a point against Chapungu in the Midlands derby played at Mandava on Sunday.
WiFi boys have not yet had pleasing results in the past three games for they have failed to collect maximum points but Tapera remains positive.
“We had a very good campaign and the boys played very well though we missed some good chances towards the end which could have given us maximum points.
“But I believe it was a fair result as both sides played very good football and definitely a draw is a good result especially considering that it was a derby.
“I am very pleased with the boys’ performance and how they are adapting because most of them are in their first year in the Premier Soccer League,” he said.
The newly promoted side are currently on position 12 and the former Yadah coach emphasised the need to improve their game.
“We want to raise our standards as we aim to stay in the PSL.
“So we will keep on working on that we raise the bar and get the results going forward,” said Tapera.
