SONGBIRD Tariro NeGitare is single and searching.

The veteran acoustic guitarist spoke to H-Metro and, asked to give a brief about herself, she immediately mentioned her relationship status.

“I am single and searching now.  Tariro NeGitare is a single song writer living in Harare playing her gitare whilst leading in vocals, mixing African and contemporary sound to make her music.

“I am a born again Christian. I believe that our gifts will make us great because God blessed us with these gifts to be great in His name.

“So I am now sharing my gifted journey with Jesus Christ hence putting or surrendering the whole journey’s driving to Him as my creator.”

She went on to speak on a myriad of issues reproduced below

“My band do not have a name , it is just Tariro NeGitare and so far I have released two albums and now I’m about to drop the third one.

ON WORLD MUSIC DAY

“Thank you the organisers of the World Music Day, it gave us artists from all culture the chance to mix , mingle and discover each other, to me it was a lesson and an international examination to a wider extent.

TO THE GOVERNMENT

“To the government, thank you for the best you are doing for arts for years, we just remind you that please remember us on piracy and the cost of importing public addressing system, no more royalties due to piracy and cost of recording and filming a song up to videos is costing tens of $USs, we are relying on shows only, worse the public is bankrupt, we are living from hand to mouth.
